How To Remove Kitchen Cabinet Drawers

To remove the drawer you need to fully extend the drawer runners as shown here.
Removing cabinet drawers that have safety locks open the drawer as far as it will go. Tape the screws to the hinges. Pull the drawer from the cabinet as normally operated grasp the sides of the drawer near the front locate and squeeze the trigger locks found under the drawer near the front with both. The easiest place to start when you want to remove kitchen cabinets is the doors and the drawers.

Then push the runners back in as shown. Hold on to the door when you remove the last screw. Turn the screws to the left counterclockwise to loosen them then pull them free from the holes in the track hardware. Use a screwdriver to remove the hinges from the doors and set them aside.
Open the door and find the hinges. Grab the drawer on both sides near the back of the drawer if you have a single stationary slide on the drawer sides. Set both screws aside somewhere you won t lose them. To release the drawer simply lift the levers either side as shown and pull the drawer forward.
Then remove the hinges from the inside of the units. Start by clearing out everything inside them. Pull the drawer completely out of the. If you are not reusing them and they are still in good shape consider donating them.
