How To Fit A Dining Table In A Small Living Room
Olivia Luz
A compact round table usually seats more people than a rectangular one and it can fit into tight corners.
This is an excellent way to save space for other things while keeping the table usable. Make the most of a bay window. The ample window area in this kitchen lends itself nicely to a compact dining space with fitted seating and a small table. Try placing a dining table more off to the side.
Here are some ideas to fit that table in with the living room furniture. To make your dining area look like a separate space from the rest of the living room try hanging a sideboard on the wall and accenting it with art. Most likely the kitchen is the other room so it only makes sense to keep the table closer to the food. Or if you have a square or rectangular table push it all the way against the wall.
Try a round table. Hanging the sideboard takes up less space and it also gives you a chance to add extra decor. This gives separation between the living room and another area. You can also use the floating shelf to hold side dishes or wine bottles during dinner parties.
